Using Mobile Analytics to Increase Long-term Customer Satisfaction

Recording Date: January 29, 2009
Duration: 43 minutes

Abstract: The deeper the understanding of subscriber behavior, the easier it is for operators to increase customer lifetime value. More relevant services lead to increased adoption and usage of those services, which, in return, increases the customer value.

Mobile analytic solutions help decipher the vast number of data transactions and turn that raw data into actionable knowledge about the customer. Armed with a 360-degree-view of their subscribers, operators can maintain their central position in the mobile internet value chain amid growing competition.

With mobile analytics installed in the network, operators get a clear picture of what users are doing in real time with a precision previously considered impossible. Over time, operators can confidently predict patterns of user behavior on and off their network, particularly crucial as internet-specific smartphones become more popular.

Information gleaned from mobile analytics form the basis for personalized services and improved customer satisfaction. It also opens up opportunities in mobile advertising, hosted service offerings and high value information brokering.
