  The Openwave Contextual Advertising Solution (CAS) offers operators an end-to-end advertising and recommendation solution that leverages their unique subscriber and network assets to capture revenue from targeted advertising and recommendations.

 

 

The solution includes the following components:

Contextual Merchandising allows operators to monetize off- and on-deck browsing traffic by inserting contextually sensitive ads into a browsing session.

Openwave Personalization System leverages the rich user data that operators have to infer the user's preferences.

Advertising Broker allows operators to source advertisements from multiple advertising networks, including their own.

Delivery Application Modules allow operators to add applications into which ads can be inserted — e.g., browsing, messaging, email.

Ecosystem Management provides advertiser, advertisement and publisher management functions (if the operator wants to build its own advertising and publisher networks).

Ad APIs allow the operator to offer any external application or entity the ability to request an ad (or recommendation).

Solution Core provides the essential core functions in any advertising deployment: campaign management, business intelligence and reporting for pre-planning and post-campaign analysis, inventory forecasting.
